🎯 Course Objective

To provide intensive, hands-on clinical training in atraumatic extraction techniques and minor oral surgical procedures — enhanced with Er:YAG laser applications — for precision, healing, and modern soft-tissue management.

 Core Procedures Covered

🔸 Atraumatic Extraction Techniques

  1. Periotome & Luxator-based Extractions
  2. Sectioning of Roots (Multirooted Tooth Removal)
  3. Use of Physics Forceps / Specialized Instruments
  4. Extraction of Grossly Decayed or Root Stump Teeth
  5. Post-Extraction Socket Management (Grafting Observation*)

 

🔸 Laser-Assisted Minor Oral Surgeries (Er:YAG / Diode as applicable)

  1. Frenectomy (Labial & Lingual)
  2. Operculectomy
  3. Gingivectomy / Gingivoplasty
  4. Exposure of Impacted Canines (Soft-Tissue)
  5. Mucocele Removal
  6. Fibroma Excision
  7. Depigmentation (Optional Based on Availability)

  1. LA Techniques & Nerve Blocks (posterior superior, mental, palatal)
  2. Infection Control & Aseptic Techniques in Surgery
  3. Suturing Techniques (Simple, Interrupted, Sling)
